If you are looking to learn a trade in the HVAC Sheet Metal industry you have come to the right place!   

 

Below are some highlights of our Prgram:

 

  • Four-year work/study program
  • 2 evening clasess per week, September though April. 
  • Earn while you learn
  • Scheduled raises 
  • All Tuition, books, and school materials are company paid
  • Cash bonus paid upon completion of program
  • Finish with a Journeyperson's card issued by the State, recognized nationwide. 

 

Highlights of a Sheet Metal Worker are below:

 

  • Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repoairs sheet metal parts, equipment, and products, 
  • Reads/Interprets blue prints
  • Sets up and Operates fabricating machines
  • Installs assemblies according to blue prints

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

  • High school graduation or equivalent. 

Communication Skills/Requirements:  Able to communicate with co-workers, other members of supervision in a respectable professional fashion. 

Mathematical Ability: Able to perform routine addition, subtraction, multiplication and/or division. Able to read and use various measuring devices.

Physical Demands: 

  • Stand for long periods of time to perform essentials of work assigned.
  • Walk and move throughout the work area as needed
  • Lift up to 50lbs unassisted and 100+ lbs with use of lifting devises or help from other employees.
  • Able to push, pull, reach and stoop as needed

 Work Environment:

  • Inside in a manufacturing environment.  Temperature can vary with change of seasons.
