Summary:
Drives company vehicles for pickup and delivery of materials, tools, and final fabrication to/from job sites. Is responsible for keeping warehouse clean and organized. Also responsible for light maintenance in office.
Essential Functions including the following, but not limited to the below:
Lead by Example:
Driver:
• Receives instructions and/or documents from immediate supervisor or manager. Prepare receipts if necessary.
• Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits reports indicating truck condition or deficiencies.
• Maintains proper onboard equipment and safety devices.
• Positions dunnage and secures loads with straps, chains or other tie-down methods.
• Tarps load as required.
• Drives truck to destination.
• Performs minor truck and facility repairs.
• Drop off/pickup company vehicles and tools for repair.
• Maintains proper levels of fuel and operating fluids and frequently inspects to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Accurately maintain Milwaukee One-Key/Tool Watch Inventory.
• Empty & Fill Gang boxes.
• Clean, organize and maintain shops, parking lot and facility grounds (year-round).
• Empty trash and recycling within the main building.
• Move furniture.
• Small tool/material assembly.
• Change facility lighting.
Warehouse:
• Receives materials from vendors, inspects deliveries and notes damages. Communicates delivery receipt to immediate supervisor/manager/receiver.
• Inspects tools for possible damage, repairs or replaces as directed prior to sending back to projects.

• Loads/unloads or assists workers in loading/unloading truck, including manual or mechanically assisted load placement.

• Maintain required CDL licenses and certifications.
• Special projects or other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum two plus years’ experience in commercial driving, preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license required. No DUI on record. Maintain clean driving record and DOT qualifications (medical/license).
Other Skills and Abilities:
• Forklift and Tow Motor Operation.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to safely and successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
• Requires moderate exertion to climb in and out of vehicles, manipulate and secure load or dunnage and place tarps.
• Requires ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend at waist, kneel, reach overhead.
• Use hand tools and strapping equipment regularly.
• Requires ability to lift and carry loads safely without risk of injury:
• Maximum unassisted lift: 70 lbs.
• Sustained lift and carry of material or equipment of 50 lbs.
• Range of lift overhead of 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
• Inside and outside conditions but not required to remain out in extreme weather.
• Protected by cab during drive time.
• Average ambient temperatures between 0 and 110 degrees F. Regularly exposed to sunlight, rain, snow, dust and dirt.
• No personal protective equipment required under normal conditions. When on job site, job site PPE is required.
Employment is based on successfully passing a background and drug test.
